CHANGES ARE COMING!

I just wanted to take this opportunity to let all the faithful know that changes are coming. It has been a very productive year and it's time to give the blog some love! Jose Reyes Photography will be unveiling a new blog that will feature not only great images from this year's weddings, but also resources that will help couples plan there upcoming weddings. The blog will be full of information to help make the process easier. There will be links to resources such as The Knot, area venues, vendors, etc. I will also have monthly discussions on various topics from within the industry that couples will hopefully find to be beneficial.

It's going to be very cool and I am really excited about it! I have been in the industry a few years now and I have had so many wonderful couples show me love so I think it's only right that I reciprocate that love with my past, present, and future couples.

So please stay tuned as the blog is in it's final stages and should be up in a couple of weeks. I also ask you guys for your thoughts and any ideas that you would like to see as well that could be helpful to everyone.

This is a fast and growing world and information is paramount, but even more important is having access to the information and sharing it with others so we can all benefit from it.

It's a NEW DAY! Thank you all for your patience and support, I really do appreciate it all.

Love, Peace and Hair Grease

From yours truly,

Jose

Trionia and Lee at the Bridgewaters in New York City's South Street Seaport

Trionia and Lee were such a lovely couple. Their wedding was actually a destination wedding because they were from Ireland and wanted to have a New York style wedding. It's weird when you think about couples getting married in the US from other countries and it's a destination wedding for them and their families, but cool and awesome if you ask me. Trionia and Lee went all out on this one. From getting ready near Times Square and stopping for photos to the cab ride down to the South Street Seaport it just doesn't get any better.

Trionia and the girls were ready at the Sheraton and then we cabbed it to Times Square for photos and then took the limo to the Bridgewaters.

The ceremony was also held at the Bridgewaters and it was beautiful and elegant.

After the ceremony we went downstairs and went crazy taking photos of everyone and everything. It was a lot of fun walking around the Seaport and doing cool stuff.

The little ones stole the show and were so delightful and entertaining. They were hoots!

Trionia and Lee thanks for a wonderful experience with New York City as the backdrop. I hope you share all your memories with your friends back in Ireland who could not make the wedding. Best wishes to you both and Congrats! I am definitely going to take you guys up on your offer someday when I got to Ireland! Thank you!

Raquel and Jason at the Nyack Seaport in Nyack, NY

Raquel and Jason what can I say but "You guys did it." You guys rocked it out every which way you could. The two of you were nothing short of crazy in love and OC (Out of Control for those who don't know). The whole day was filled with so much joy and happiness. Raquel girl you were looking hot and Jay what can I say but you go boy! The two of you were awesome and you let me and Millie B do what we do best which is always fun for us as photogs. Everything was held at the beautiful and cozy Nyack Seaport. Raquel and Jason saw each other before hand and we went to Haverstraw Bay Park for photos with the two of them and the Bridal Party. Fun was a given on this day!

Let's start with my girl Raquel during the bridal prep.

Millie B was with Jason and the boys!

Millie B has a nack for getting awesome candids of kids at weddings that blows me away.
The moment right before Raquel and Jason saw each other.

And the moment after, this captures the esseance of the two of them. In love!

At the park.

These were at the Nyack Seaport in the back where there is a cool phone booth. For my faithful blog followers you will remember this booth from Nicola and Christopher's wedding last October.

Raquel and Jason I must say you guys were meant for each other and there is no doubt you guys are going to have a fun and crazy time being married to each other. Millie and I thank you for a wonderful ride that was your wedding. God Bless you both and Congrats!

Melissa and Kristopher at the Fox Hollow in Long Island

What a couple Melissa and Kristopher definitely were a blast and crazy in love. These two when together were not camera shy. Melissa was beautiful and amazing during her bridal prep and the girls were super cool and fun as well. I had my homegirl Millie B with me as well and off course she did her thing. Overall a fun wedding with lots of laughs.

As always let's take a look at some of the bridal prep photos. Melissa got ready at her Aunt's house which was of the hook, but most importantly the house was great for photos and the light was flowing in through the many windows. Light was definitely not an issue that day.

I stole this one as the couple left the church. Loves these shots true photojournalism at its best!

Once we got the the Fox Hollow it was game on with this couple and their bridal party.

Millie B with the guys having a little fun and a cool portrait of Kris.

This couple was definitely into each other and having fun with it.

Kristopher's brother after his Best Man speech.

Even Mom got in on the fun that night. She was on the dance floor doing her thing.
Thanks Melissa and Kris for allowing us to be a part of your awesome wedding. You guys are truly special and genuine and it showed. The photos don't lie! Congrats and best wishes to you both on your new lives together.
