Anamari & Anthony - July 29, 2007

This wedding was near and dear to me and special in so many ways. I know Anamari's family very well. I photographed her younger sister Amanda's Sweet 16 last year and her other sister Claudia is married to one of my best friends. I also get to photograph the little darling of the family Sofia. I obviously met Anthony through Anamari and I must say he's one cool cat. This was one of the most beautiful weddings that I have been a part of. Despite the heavy rain that came down all day my colleague David Mielcarek and myself created beautiful images that could only have worked in with the rain. Anamari looked absolutely gorgeous and Anthony looked smooth like butter.

As I walked into the house, Anamari was already on her way to getting glamified!

I then went upstairs to get detail shots and guess who was also getting glamified but yours truly Little Sofi. How cute is she!

Then it was time for Anamari to put on her out of this world dress. One of the most beautiful dresses ever. The train must have been 100ft long. OK it wasn't that long but it sure seemed like it.

Meanwhile, over at the church David was capturing cool stuff with Anthony and the guys.

Here are some of Anamari's bridal portraits. I think you will all agree she looks.....well fill in the blanks!

The necklace is a family heirloom worn by the women in her family who have married.

Now we had to get Anamari to the church without getting wet. We almost made it to the church before the rain began.

This is one of those images that will live forever. Believe it or not but the rain and the overcast day with the angelic look on Anamari's face makes this an unforgettable image. Great job David!

.....and of course the little ones were excited to see the stunning bride.

Two cute little ones making their way down the aisle.

And the first kiss! AHH!

These next two images only work because of the rain and these are incredible. The first image was taken by David and I took the second image which is my favorite of the day and tells a great story.

This bridal party had attitude!

I was able to get this image in a small hallway at the Tides just before the family formals. This one was taken by David. Awesome!

The Tides is a great place, it really lends itself to taking photos inside.

Here's the lovely couple as they were introduced for the first time.

During the first dance.

This was an emotional wedding. It was tough fighting those tears of joy!

Anamari, the thoughtful person that she is, hooked her hubby up with a Giants cake. That's cool!

One of the final images of the night.

.....of course can't forget the details and that good looking cake.

Anamari & Anthony, I wish you guys nothing but love and happiness. You guys are perfect for each other and it was a honor to have been a part of such a special and memorable day. This wedding will always have a special place in my heart. I will see you guys at the next family BBQ or get together. Congrats!

Colleen & Brian - July 28, 2007

Colleen and Brian's wedding was truly awesome from beginning to end. Colleen and Brian are both teachers and teach at the same school. The children they teach are truly blessed because they have two caring and fun individuals who truly love what they do. Colleen got ready at the Crown Plaza in White Plains, NY the ceremony took place in Greenwich, CT and the the reception was at the beautiful Davenport Club in New Rochelle, NY. Needless to say Colleen and Brian looked absolutely fabulous.

Lets take a look at some of the moments and details from the bridal prep. Of course, the shoes! As Spike Lee once said, "It's gotta be the shoes!"

.....and now the bridal portraits. Colleen is such a beautiful woman that there wasn't much that I needed to say or do. She just simply looked gorgeous!

This is one of my favorite images from the day. These two were captured in the lobby. It was a cool and modern looking place to take photos and try something a little different.

.....and of course we can't forget about the groom. Brian definitely looked smooth and as cool as the other side of the pillow.

I was able to get this right before the ceremony. Brian had his game face on! The dude was ready!

Let the ceremony begin. The bride's maids looked stunning in those beautiful blue dresses. I love blue, it happens to be one of my favorite colors and the girls worked it!

I love this shot from behind of the Bride and the father walking down the aisle.

This is such a cool shot of the priest and the organ pipes in the background.

Love those candid moments! Here are a few from day filled with great moments.

Here are a couple of the bridal party having a little fun.

Another favorite of mine! Kids can do some of the funniest things in front of a camera.

.....and now for Colleen and Brian. Truly a beautiful couple. These guys were up for anything.

Once we got to the Davenport Club, Colleen and Brian wanted to hit the beach and get some cool shots. As Colleen put it, "this is once in a lifetime, let's go." I love it when brides get adventurous!

My favorite shot of the day! The camera loved these two.

Colleen and Brian thank you for everything. You guys ROCK! The band was awesome, the music was just crazy and fun! What a party you guys had. You both were wonderful and I wish you guys nothing but the best. It was a pleasure and a honor to be a part of your wedding.
