Anamari & Anthony - July 29, 2007

This wedding was near and dear to me and special in so many ways. I know Anamari's family very well. I photographed her younger sister Amanda's Sweet 16 last year and her other sister Claudia is married to one of my best friends. I also get to photograph the little darling of the family Sofia. I obviously met Anthony through Anamari and I must say he's one cool cat. This was one of the most beautiful weddings that I have been a part of. Despite the heavy rain that came down all day my colleague David Mielcarek and myself created beautiful images that could only have worked in with the rain. Anamari looked absolutely gorgeous and Anthony looked smooth like butter.

As I walked into the house, Anamari was already on her way to getting glamified!

I then went upstairs to get detail shots and guess who was also getting glamified but yours truly Little Sofi. How cute is she!

Then it was time for Anamari to put on her out of this world dress. One of the most beautiful dresses ever. The train must have been 100ft long. OK it wasn't that long but it sure seemed like it.

Meanwhile, over at the church David was capturing cool stuff with Anthony and the guys.

Here are some of Anamari's bridal portraits. I think you will all agree she looks.....well fill in the blanks!

The necklace is a family heirloom worn by the women in her family who have married.

Now we had to get Anamari to the church without getting wet. We almost made it to the church before the rain began.

This is one of those images that will live forever. Believe it or not but the rain and the overcast day with the angelic look on Anamari's face makes this an unforgettable image. Great job David!

.....and of course the little ones were excited to see the stunning bride.

Two cute little ones making their way down the aisle.

And the first kiss! AHH!

These next two images only work because of the rain and these are incredible. The first image was taken by David and I took the second image which is my favorite of the day and tells a great story.

This bridal party had attitude!

I was able to get this image in a small hallway at the Tides just before the family formals. This one was taken by David. Awesome!

The Tides is a great place, it really lends itself to taking photos inside.

Here's the lovely couple as they were introduced for the first time.

During the first dance.

This was an emotional wedding. It was tough fighting those tears of joy!

Anamari, the thoughtful person that she is, hooked her hubby up with a Giants cake. That's cool!

One of the final images of the night.

.....of course can't forget the details and that good looking cake.

Anamari & Anthony, I wish you guys nothing but love and happiness. You guys are perfect for each other and it was a honor to have been a part of such a special and memorable day. This wedding will always have a special place in my heart. I will see you guys at the next family BBQ or get together. Congrats!

This is so incredibly beautiful and brings out such passion. I can't believe you have become so successful so quickly; although it is obvious you completely believe in what you do. Alright now we need to talk about the Bat Mitzvah...I see now portfolios of any members of the tribe. i have though your friend will be able to handle this. Please call or email me with that info again so we can get this beautiful train moving. big smooch to you and the family.
